One of the most voluminous subjects in the program. Students who make their connections or work in a law firm may well have an advantage here, as what is learned from this topic is applicable in real professional life. As my favorite subject in CLP, I would recommend that students be patient in learning these topics. Identify the purpose of each order and memorize the 2012 court rules. Aspiring litigators, this is your chance to shine. By the way, appreciate it very much if you could help interpret what exactly the following announcement means, according to your understanding especially the third paragraph (Pada 13. …) and your comments: The most difficult aspect of adopting CLP is mainly due to its mass. There are 5 topics to study, some being divided into other subtopics and/or some containing areas of law within a topic. Anyone who fails more than 1 test will have to repeat the 5 tests again in the next session. Unlike LL.B, students do not have the luxury of choosing the subjects they want or think are good. They must always work for the papers they have passed if they have not received the full passports (past the 5 subjects). Jason Lim Mun KitClass of 2008 – Grade A for Civil Procedure»The CLP program in ATC has successfully helped me develop and achieve what I originally thought was a dark journey. Of course, I am a proud student of this alma mater.
Thanks to the tireless efforts of the teachers, I am proud to be here as a CLP Fellow who has prepared me to face the real world. I am of the opinion that the entry requirement to pass the bar exam, i.e. CLP, should be based solely on the candidate/candidate`s law qualification diploma, i.e. LLB that he or she holds. It makes no sense to look at high school diplomas like UEC, SPM or STPM or GCE O/A levels. Isn`t a good foreign law degree properly recognized by the LPQB enough? What do you think? I guess, given his age, he did a part-time Bachelor of Laws degree. I am now considering doing a part-time Bachelor of Laws degree. Before I get to the heart of the matter, I`d like to know what to expect.
Please share if you know someone who has done or done LLB part-time. Yes, I totally agree. You have to work very hard to succeed, no matter what profession you are in: law, medicine, etc. Right? The recent change in the format of the exam would mean that it would be extremely risky for students to skip subjects into the subject. As far as you know, the question of review powers or appeals that you fear so much and that you have decided to skip may well be a mandatory question that you have to answer, otherwise you would lose a large part of the notes. Be aware of recent changes to the Code of Criminal Procedure to ensure you are aware of what`s new in the by-laws. . A: Yes, although I have to answer this question with reservations. Your current job may or may not break you, it could be a double-edged sword depending on how you manage your time and work. If you work in a law firm, you may be more likely to enter the entry and exit of the profession, which will significantly improve your understanding of the subject of the exam, depending on the type of work you do in the firm. Personally, I would say that professional practice is the heaviest subject among the others. This topic is divided into 2 parts, part A and part B.
Unlike the other topics, here we have to answer 5 questions, instead of just 4. Part B consists of 3 land law issues, 1 estate and 1 bankruptcy/liquidation issue. This would mean that the land rights issue is not jumpable, as you will have to make at least one to answer 5 questions. Be prepared to memorize your ethics rule from the beginning, as this can be a crucial strategy to clarify this issue. Some decide to answer 3 land questions while ignoring the issues of probate and/or bankruptcy/liquidation, although I suggest you proceed with caution depending on the strength. For me personally, answering 3 land questions can be a risky but rewarding strategy if you know the inputs and outputs of the subject very well.
